Hello, I’m Haider Al-Mosawi.
I’m a writer, educator, and the co-founder of Sirdab Lab (startup hub) and Catalyze (user experience design firm). I’ve become obsessed with understanding how humans function well because I, myself, have struggled with humaning and adulting.
I struggled with a variety of emotions, including a panic attack that sent me to hospital.
I struggled with being a son, husband, father, employee, entrepreneur, and many other roles in my life because I didn’t have a good handle on my emotions and my attention (which was scattered because of my emotions).
Knowing how to work with all my emotions has helped me overcome many of the obstacles standing in my way, and I’m now equipped with valuable emotional tools that help me continuously address and overcome the obstacles life continues to present me with.
This course will equip you with some practical ideas and practices that will help you overcome existing emotional obstacles in your life, as well as provide you with a lifelong skill of working with your emotions gracefully.
You will no longer see any emotion as an enemy, and will treat all your feelings as your friends. This may be hard to believe right now, but it’s possible. I’ve lived it, seen it happen, and have helped others cultivate this attitude, as well.
What You’ll Be Getting
The course Your Feelings Are Your Friends is a collection of 23 (mostly) short videos that are, in total, just under 2 hours long. Some videos will change the way you think about your feelings. A couple of videos may be challenging to go through, if you are experiencing intense negative emotions.
However, you will have access to my support while going through the course. I want to ensure you complete the course (and not let it gather digital dust), that you begin applying what’s in the course, and that you know what to do beyond the course.
You are not alone in this journey, and I’ll help ensure you get the results you want, and to make this journey as easy as it can get.

In this course, I rely on a form of therapy known as Internal Family Systems therapy. However, I want to make it clear that I’m not a therapist and this course cannot fully address issues that may require professional help. But, what I can also say is that what you will learn in the course might make you more responsive to professional help, and make therapy sessions more fruitful (if needed).
